The Process

Starting with blanks of 80CRV2 high carbon steel, each knife is ground by hand and heat treated to achieve the highest performance possible. Post heat treat and tempering, each knife is ground to a final edge thickness and the surface is sand blasted. Finally, the blades are sprayed with a durable Cerakote finish and sharpened by hand.
Handles are cut from a sheet of G10 material and drilled to fit on the knife. Handles are then shaped, blasted, and sealed using a variety of different tools.
Kydex sheathes start as a sheet of material that is heated and vacuum formed to create a rough plastic form. These forms are cut from the sheet, trimmed, drilled, and riveted together to produce a sheath blank. These sheath blanks are individually formed to each knife, adjusted for fit, and finished with a DCC carry clip.
